Takitos
I had always conceptualized this idea of using Takis as key ingredient for flavor. A while back I made homemade Takis including the powder. With a lot of powder left over I decided to make giant Takis in the shape of taquitos and the result was so good!
Takitos
10oz shredded chicken
10-12 corn tortillas (depending on size and filling)
2 tablespoons of Takis powder
Roll shredded chicken into each tortilla using about 1 ounce each. Once all taquitos are rolled, fill your frying pan with oil about half way. Keep on a medium flame. When placing the taquitos onto the pan place the folded side down first. This allows for the taquitos to be sealed so the filling does not come out. Flip each taquito when they get a nice toasted color. When finished place on a drying rack and allow them to cool down. Once called to the touch but still warm place them in a sandwich bag and pour the Takis powder on top. Seal the bag and shake, making sure all the taquitos are coated. If you prefer a stronger Takis flavor you can add more powder at this step. Top with some crema, cheese or lettuce and enjoy!

combine all ingredients into a spice blender molcajete and blend or mash them into a finer texture. Most of these ingredients can be found over the counter. The key is to make sure everything is powdered into one mix, breaking down any texture some of the ingredients may have. Be careful when blending it will make you sneeze. Keep in a salt shaker and store at room temp in your spice cabinet.
